Held at the Zandvlei Lookout in Lakeside on the shores of beautiful Zandvlei, the FynbosLIFE Fair brings together the Cape community to celebrate the extraordinary biodiversity of the world-famous Fynbos Biome.
FynbosLIFE Fair visitors can look forward to art, film, talks, delicious drinks and eats and much more that celebrate the Cape Floristic Region (CFR) and highlight the importance of its conservation.
With conservation truly at the heart of the FynbosLIFE Fair, the event brings together conservation organisations that work throughout the CFR.
Attendees can enjoy engaging with their informative stands and learn more about how they can contribute to conservation.
There is also a range of fun, accessible and engaging talks to enjoy, bringing you up to date with the latest goings on in the biodiversity space from fynbos restoration to the latest research.
At the FynbosLIFE Fair, we bring you the latest and greatest natural history films, highlighting the threats and challenges facing our biodiversity and documenting what is being done to conserve it.
You can come and shop a curated range of fynbos-focused and inspired products with sustainability in mind, including food, drinks, books, stationery, artwork, jewellery, and much more.
Younger attendees of the FynbosLIFE Fair can enjoy a range of fynbos-focused environmental education activities for children of all ages, to grow and nurture the next generation of biodiversity lovers.
At the FynbosLIFE Fair, the FynbosLIFE team will be on hand for you to learn interactively more about our range of projects, which encompass environmental education, ecological restoration, rehabilitation, art and locally indigenous wildlife gardening.
More information will be available on how you can become involved as a volunteer and become a community conservation champion in your area.
